I'm frequently approached by people who for a variety of reasons are interested in self-employment. Invariably they either don't know where to start when it comes to selecting a small business idea, or they have an idea and they're not sure if it could be turned into a successful business. This is the first of three short video podcasts I made that I think might help would-be entrepreneurs to select and evaluate their own ideas. It's just a broad overview, but future podcasts will dig a little deeper into the topic.
